My worst 5 gt dd pro problems are 1) random disconnects from inferior QR wheelside clamp. B) random disconnects from old drivers. 3) random disconnects from stray emi emissions and sloppy/unshielded cabling. 4) random disconnects from any other unusual and freakish events. 5》the totality of Fanatecs problems that must all be addressed before I have any hope of help from them. BONUS #6 WORST PROBLEM WITH FANATEC GT DD PRO: have I mentioned that the wheel may on occasion randomly disconnect itself from your game?

Had to log back on briefly to say that the lighter colored marking on that piece of ebony is typically what I belive they refer to as "sapwood." It is located just below the bark on the tree and transfers the water and nutrients throughout the tree. The darker part is typically located on the inner part of the tree and can be referred to as "heartwood." The darker, more uniform colored ebony with really tight grain and high density is traditionally more desirable and sought after and of courser more expensive. Many, many years ago I priced a very dense solid black piece of Ebony that was essentially a decent sized squared log that was about 40" x 12" x 12" with no cracks or separations in it at $400 and I was totally shocked by the price. Kinda wish I would have bought it as It is my limited understanding that now such a piece is difficult to find and REALLY expensive if you were to find one. Idk. Anyway back to video...

So far as I can see (maybe I am wrong) this is from a practical perspective the replacement for the old Xbox Elite wheel that I have with the differences only being cosmetic and the new quick release versus the old "oil filter wrench" method (my terminology). I am after a replacement for my five year old Elite because the alcantara is totally worn (and yes I wear gloves but all that means is that the glove wears the alcantara out as it does on real racing wheels with the same covering).
